An experiment focusing on the musculature of the character's torso. Normally I use cold hues for shadows (various blues and greenish tones) and warmer tones for my highlights (golds, oranges etc). Here I have done the opposite, cold light and warm shadows) and I find I rather like the effect.

This looks more to the character than the recent Hollywood cash-out. He seems aged by the experiences he's been through and the haggard expression shows how much hell he's been through in his life.
