Primordial spirit of the tundra and forest.
Moon singer, wind walker, winter ghost.
The first and eldest.
Wild lord. Boreal King.
Many moons ago I was obliged to produce a series of sketches of various wild animals for a game we were working on. This must've been, mid to late 1990s. One of them was that of a wolf [link] I was pretty pleased with that one and after looking at it this afternoon I decided to resurrect the image as a digital piece in colour (albeit, not a lot of colour). Quite pleased with the end result overall.
Whatever source material I used in the original sketch I couldn't say. Probably a scan from a magazine at the time.
